A Clarkstown man who found a dead endangered sturgeon along a Hudson River beach is questioning whether early construction activity for the new Tappan Zee Bridge killed the fish. But since no one collected the fish, its cause of death remains unknown. The sturgeon's missing tail could be from a boat-propeller strike or, some said, because of decomposition.
